Intel is does a ElfYourself this Christmas

Intel has created a "put your face on a music video" Christmas greeting site this year called http://www.makeyourholidaysing.com/. This is very similar to the highly successful ElfYourself by OfficeMax. The interesting features about this year's viral Christmas sites is the clear integration with social media platforms such as uploading your Intel music video to YouTube and using photos for ElfYourself from Facebook.

Did Google just make turn-by-turn GPS free?!

If this is the future of Google Maps on the mobile I'm all for an Android phone! I didn't really expect so many features, I would have been happy if the current version of Google Maps on the mobile had audio turn-by-turn prompts, but to integrate streetview and search into the app makes it a winner.

Oh and yes it is free. It comes with the new Android mobile phones. What is Garmin, Tom Tom, and the rest of the GPS makers do now?

The impact of iPhone on StarHub

My local mobile carrier StarHub in Singapore got a huge boost in online conversations today simply by announcing the availability of the iPhone by year-end. StarHub is the third and last carrier to announce its carrying of the Apple mobile phone, but even so it didn't fail to get people talking.

Most conversations took place on Twitter with links to news articles and the StarHub media release.
